CTC Working Weekend
22nd - 23rd September 2007

Members and friends of the Cornish tractor Club held their annual Working weekend at Mr Frank Mathews Ennis farm at Trispen Nr Truro over the weekend of the 22 to 23rd of September.

Around 40  vintage and classic tractors ploughed and cultivated the 30 acres.

There was ploughing instruction from county ploughmen for anyone who needed it , some ploughed behind each other while others had their own plots.

John Sweet of Mitchel bought his Standard Fordson as did Peter Chapman of Shortlanesend who were both using trailer ploughs. Edwin Curnow of Camborne and Edward Thomas of Launceston brought their E27N Fordson Majors, Edwin ploughing and Edward using his cultivator to break down the ploughing ready for tilling.

A selection of early Fordson's which attended at the weekend

which were in great demand !
During the course of the evening several "regular

Many thanks to Mr Frank Mathews, for the use of his land once more and also a big thank you to all the "regular" organisers and helpers.
